Pilgrim Nursery School is committed to providing the best possible learning experience for preschool children. Due to our low teacher-to-child ratio, our dedicated teachers are able to provide individual attention to each child's developmental needs. Each staff member is certified in First Aid and CPR.

Maryellen returns to PNS for her 14th year, her eighth as the teacher in the older four year old classroom! She is a DEEC Certified Teacher and recently became Lead Teacher certified through DEEC by completing multiple college courses. Maryellen became a teacher becasue..."I enjoy children, the act of playing and being able to enhance children's natural sense of wonder."

Paula is returning for her 10th year at PNS, her sixth as the teacher for both 3 and 4 year old classes. She is DEEC Teacher Certified, holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and recently recieved three college level credits in Behavior Management for Children. She is also the mother of three PNS alumni! Paula became a teacher because..."I think it is the most important job in the world!" ~ Samina returns for her 4th year after many years of volunteering in the Lexington public elementary schools. She has also just earned three college level credits in Early Childhood Education. Samina became a teacher because..."I love helping children learn and grow."

Teri is returning to PNS for her 13th year as a lead teacher! She holds a BA degree in Psychology as well as being Lead Teacher Certified through DEEC, by completing many Early Childhood Education college courses. Teri became a teacher because..."I love coming to work every day, to discover and teach new things to the children! There's never a dull moment!" ~ Cheryl returns for her 5th year at PNS. She has experience working with brain damaged children and became a teacher because..."I love working with children!"
